Seg\u00fan supo extraoficialmente <strong>al diario de Paysand\u00fa<\/strong>, el anuncio formal se realizar\u00eda en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas y los trabajos comenzar\u00edan el mes pr\u00f3ximo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La recuperaci\u00f3n del muelle del viejo <strong>Frigor\u00edfico Anglo<\/strong> fue licitada originalmente en 2018 con una inversi\u00f3n de cinco millones de d\u00f3lares para fomentar el <strong>turismo<\/strong> n\u00e1utico. Sin embargo, las tareas fueron interrumpidas en 2021 durante la pandemia. En 2022, el entonces intendente <strong>Omar Lafluf<\/strong> hab\u00eda indicado que la obra no se retomar\u00eda argumentando que, al ser r\u00edo abierto, la zona carec\u00eda de protecci\u00f3n para la permanencia de embarcaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00fan no se ha confirmado si se ejecutar\u00e1 el proyecto original o uno nuevo sobre esta estructura, clave para el <strong>Paisaje Industrial de Fray Bentos<\/strong>, declarado <strong>Patrimonio de la Humanidad<\/strong> por la Unesco en 2015.
